Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 August 2026
Cookies and similar storage (like localStorage) are small pieces of information a website keeps in your browser. Below is exactly which ones we use, what for, and for how long.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Set by | Consent required |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
skw_cookie_consent | localStorage | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner. | 180 days | Us | No — this is your consent choice. |
skw_attribution | localStorage | Remembers which advertisement or search brought you to us (gclid/utm parameters, referring page, timestamp). | 90 days | Us | No — functional. |
skw_selected_folies | localStorage | Remembers which films you were interested in, so we can bring those samples. | 90 days | Us | No — functional. |
skw_pending_callback_submit | sessionStorage | Makes sure a confirmation after submitting the callback form only counts once. | Until you close the tab | Us | No — functional. |
skw_folie_toast_shown | sessionStorage | Remembers that you've already seen the tip about film samples, so we don't show it again. | Until you close the tab | Us | No — functional. |
_ga, _ga_<id> | Cookie | Google Analytics 4 — measuring site usage so we can improve it. | Google's default period (typically up to 2 years) | Yes — only after "Accept" in the cookie banner. | |
| Turnstile cookies | Cookie / storage (outside our code) | Distinguishes humans from bots when submitting the callback form. | Unknown — determined by Cloudflare, not our code | Cloudflare | Always loaded, independent of your cookie choice; see Cloudflare's own documentation. |
Functional versus analytics
The functional items above (your cookie choice, attribution data, film interest, and the two session markers) always work, even without clicking "Accept" — they're needed to make the site work properly and don't require consent. Only the Google Analytics cookies are set once you've clicked "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you choose "Essential only", these cookies are left out.
Changing your choice
At the bottom of every page you'll find the "Cookie settings" link. This clears your stored choice and shows the cookie banner again, so you can choose again. If you do nothing, your choice expires automatically after 180 days and you'll see the banner again then too.
Deleting cookies
You can also always delete cookies and stored data yourself via your browser's settings; seeallaboutcookies.orgfor instructions per browser.
